What is a wedding dress that is easy to dance in?
I'm looking for a wedding dress that would be easy to dance in, and still be pretty (I've looked at a lot of ball gown types, but I also want straps). I have a largish bust and I've never really been a fan of strapless. Does anyone know if it matters with a wedding dress?prom dress I suppose they would do a better job of keeping it on..
OR I'm looking for a style of dress similar to the one Baby wears at the end of Dirty Dancing.
Thank you!
When you go to a bridal shop and start trying on dresses, be a smart bride. Do not just put a dress on and stand in front of a mirror. That is the first step, but if the dress makes your list of possibles, move around in it.OR I'm looking for a style of dress similar to the one Baby wears at the end of Dirty Dancing.

See if you feel comfortable. Having a dress that you know will prevent you from experiencing a "clothing mishap" on this most import day when everyone will be looking at you, will mean that is one less thing to worry about.
My dress fit me perfectly as it was, I did not have to lose one ounce to have it look and fit perfectly.
All of the dress was comfortable, the sleeves, skirt, bodice, closings. It was a joy to wear and the smile on my face made me look so Beautiful that when I saw the pictures, I could not believe that was me.When you start going to try on dresses, let the saleslady know your specifics before trying anything on. Let her know you want to have a dress that has straps or sleeves, school prom you want something that won't weigh you down, and that you can move and bend easily in. They will find some dresses in different cuts that meet those specifications. That's a good place to start anyways. Keep an eye out online for dresses too. Remember that just because they look great in a picture doesn't mean they'll look great on you, and just because they look shabby in a picture or on the hanger doesn't mean that it won't look stunning on you. Keep that in mind b/c I ended up getting a dress that had nothing to do with any of my specifications. I just fell in love with it!One of the easiest dresses to dance in is actually an A-line. Because generally they have built in crinolines.prom dress uk But it depends on what type of materials it's made out of. Anything that you have to wear a petticoat with a hoop is going to be more difficult to move in. Also anything without a long train is also key. If you don't mind a bustle, then you can still have a longer train. Consider something with a fuller skirt where the volume starts at the bottom of the buttocks or below.Just go in and start trying on dresses. I went in thinking I was going to get a strapless tea length gown and I ended up getting a floor length spaghetti strap. It fit almost perfect, all I have to do is get 3 inches taken off the bottom and 1/2 in on the side. It's easy to move in which I didn't think would be possible for me.
The only thing I can think of is to avoid a train. I couldn't hardly walk in the ones I tried on
